Second, the instructor assembles a panel of non-experts or laypersons who give feedback to the students. Finally, the students resubmit their work based on the feedback.

Difference this metho is staged or scaffolded assignment and focuses the output as an essay or paper while "Assessed presentations to a non-expert audience" is not staged and widens it learners' output to include presentations, magazine articles or technical bulletins if that is more appropriate to your discipline.
